Project SIerra

Every four years, Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA) participates with the other three federations that make up Soroptimist International in selecting a worthwhile project that is international in scope. The project for 2008 through 2011 is Project SIerra. We work with Hope and Homes for Children in Sierra Leone to address issues resulting from a decade of civil war. They provide caring secure family homes for children who are alone or at risk of abandonment, and training and support for women who are outcasts of society.
